Late Night Loves

I know I post a lot of pictures of Izzy in bed, but I always find it fascinating just how happy she is to climb on top of me when I lay down in bed. Although she is generally reluctant to be around people, it’s as though the darkness allows her the cover necessary to show a little affection and purr in complete contentment. She seems to consider bedtime to be her time to get all the love she wants but can never ask for (even though I want to sleep). Last night, she even smacked one of the other cats who tried to come between us.
