For more than 2- … um … yeah … for many, many years, I have dedicated my life to work. Work, work and more work. Now, it’s time to focus on me and what makes me happy. So this blog will be a smattering of posts about random things that make me happy for the day, the week, the month … however long it takes until I understand what really makes me get out of bed every morning (besides work, that is).
This much I know:
- I get bored easily
- Computers dominate my life and I hate it (yes, I understand the irony of starting a blog, given this fact)
- I love to write, but not all the time (see No. 1)
- I love to be in the great outdoors
- I need a little space every day to be creative
This journey isn’t just about me, though. I will also be accompanied by my sidekick, Cooper:

I don’t even know you but I have truly enjoyed reading your blog! Started with the Gus story (I’m a CAT volunteer) and read all about your “family”. You’re lucky to have found them as well as they are to be with you. I remember Isabelle… She’s a cutie-I have one with her exact temperament. Love your writing and musings. I’m going to check back and see what future adventures you, Cooper and the kitty quartet are up to!
